The career of Narendra Modi

  • Narendra Modi had to contend with various challenges and roadblocks; nonetheless, he saw each one as a possibility and used his courage and perseverance to turn these challenges into chances. After becoming a member of RSS, he understood ideals like patriotism, dedication, generosity, and social responsibility.
  • Narendra Modi has never lacked fire or enthusiasm for helping people in need and providing assistance to those struggling. As a young boy in 1965, Narendra Modi offered his assistance to Indian and Pakistani troops stationed at several railway stations during the Indo-Pak war. During the floods that occurred in Gujarat in 1967, he also assisted individuals who were affected.
  • When Modi first started working, he worked at the employee cafeteria of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation. He became a full-time RSS supporter and activist, known as a “Pracharak.” After training at the RSS camp in Nagpur, Modi became a member of the RSS. Successful completion of the training course is a prerequisite for any RSS member who wants to further their career within the Sangh Parivar.
  • Senior political personalities expressed satisfaction with his participation in the battle to end the emergency. Consequently, the Bharatiya Janata Party in Gujarat, which had just been established, appointed him as the party’s regional planner later on.
  • Since he was a little boy, Narendra Modi has always had an innate ability to organize. During the State of Emergency, he coordinated anti-State of Emergency demonstrations and plotted the clandestine distribution of RSS pamphlets. When he was a member of the RSS, he crossed paths with two members of Jan Sangh named Vasant Gajendragadkar and Nathalal Jaghda.
  • These two individuals would establish the BJP’s state branch in Gujarat. In 1987, the RSS launched Narendra Modi on the path to a career in politics by endorsing his candidacy for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). After directing Murli Manohar Joshi’s Ekta Yatra, Modi rose to prominence, and his efficiency was hailed as a critical factor in the film’s success.

Personal life

Following the traditions of the Ghanchi people, Modi’s parents began preparing for his wedding while he was still a child. He was 13 years old when he first encountered Jashodaben Modi, and he married her when he was 18. They gradually drifted apart when Modi left on a tour that lasted for two years and included visits to Hindu ashrams. Reportedly, their marriage was never finished, and he kept it a secret because if it had been, he would not have been allowed to join the puritan Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as a ‘Pracharak.’ For most of his career, Modi was careful to keep his wedding a secret from the public. The connection that exists between Modi and his mother is compelling.

On August 31, 2012, Modi was the first Indian candidate to communicate with people via a live talk on Google Hangouts. This historic event took place in India. Workaholism and introversion contribute to Modi’s character traits, and he maintains a vegetarian diet and practices frugality in his daily life. Since the year 2002, he has been employing a cook by the name of Badri Meena. Many people look up to Modi as a fashion icon because of the gorgeous way he always dresses.

On September 17, 1950, in the city of Vadnagar, Gujarat, Narendra Modi was born to a family of grocers who belonged to a lower-middle class. He has shown that a person’s caste, creed, or social origin are irrelevant factors when achieving achievement. When he became Prime Minister of India, his mother was still living. He is the first Prime Minister of India to have this distinction. As a member of the Lok Sabha, he is the representative for the Varanasi seat and is known as a brilliant strategist. He has held the position of Prime Minister of India since 2014, and he was the Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat from the year 2001 till the year 2014.

In the Lok Sabha Election 2019, Narendra Modi defeated Shalini Yadav of the Samajwadi Party and won by a margin of around 4.79 lac votes. According to the schedule, the ceremony to swear him in for his second term as Prime Minister of India will take place on May 30, 2019. After serving as BJP leader for the previous five years, he has broken the record by being the first person to be re-elected for a second term.
