She appeared with “ER” stars Anthony Edwards, Sean Penn, Forest Whitaker, Eric Stoltz, and Nicolas Cage. In a 1982 interview, Phoebe said, “I was just 17 when I did my nude sequences in “Paradise.” The inability to justify them made them more severe and challenging. Besides their 16-year age gap, the couple had other differences. Phoebe quit high school to model and succeed in teen films. The couple met after Kline graduated from Julliard and won two Tony Awards for his Broadway performances. Phoebe was finishing her film career when they married in 1989. She completed her cinematic career with 1994’s historical comedy “Princess Caraboo” after appearing in “Heart of Dixie” and “Shag”. She and Kevin had two children, Owen Joseph Kline (1991) and Greta Simone (1994). Owen directs films, and Greta became Frankie Cosmos to pursue her music career.
