Biography

On August 14, 1982, Mohit Raina was born to Brahmin parents in Kashmir. Mohit Raina was raised in Jammu by his parents, P.L. Raina and Sushma Kumari. He earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Jammu after attending Kendriya Vidyalaya School. After moving to Mumbai, Mohit began modeling. To enter the 2005 Grasim Mister India modeling competition, he lost 29 kilograms (64 pounds) from his teen weight of 107 kilograms (236 pounds). He hoped that a modeling career would help him break into the workforce. Mohit Raina triumphed over five other candidates.

Shiva was played by Raina in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and Mahabharat (2013). His prior work in soaps includes 2009’s Chehra and 2010’s Ganga Kii Dheej.  Before starring with Mithun Chakraborty in Don Muthu Swami (2008), he appeared in Antariksh (2004). Chehra (2009)

Chehra, an Indian thriller show, premiered on STAR Plus in 2009. As head of Beyond Dreams Productions, Yash Patnaik oversaw the making of the show. From March 16 to July 2, 2009, the show aired.

The story is about a lively wheelchair-bound girl. Bandini’s story is told in Chehra, which details her life before and after marriage, as well as her unflappable outlook on life.
