Marital Status
In Nach Baliye’s first season, Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar won over fans before social media. Fans voted for this deserving pair, helping them win.
Sachin became famous for his roles in Sholay, Balika Badhu, and Piya Ka Ghar after starting as a kid actor. Sachin went from winning a National Film Award at four to commanding adult roles in Avatar, Satte Pe Satta, and Geet Gaata Chal. He started directing movies.
Director Sachin met Supriya on his second Marathi film, Navri Mile Navryala. When she performed, he thought she was ‘cute’. Despite working on the movie together, Sachin took a while to tell Supriya how he felt. After he succeeded, Supriya was shocked since she thought Sachin was married. They married in 1985 despite their ten-year age difference due to their love. The pair continued their artistic journey on the 1990s sitcom Tu Tu Main Main. The comedy series, directed by Sachin and starring Supriya, was an instant smash and introduced the actress to an audience outside of Marathi films.
The relationship symbolizes their trust, sincerity, and faith in each other. According to Sachin in a 2019 interview, they are a ‘power couple’ because they can disagree without masking their feelings and are always supportive. He said ‘I am incomplete without her.’
